Monthly Council Meetings

Product Leadership Council members meet monthly via virtual video conferencing to discuss a critical product management or marketing topic. Interactive discussions will be facilitated by leading industry veterans to help ensure meaningful, fruitful outcomes. Each monthly meeting will last approximately 60 minutes.

Title: The Sales Win Rate

One commonly used indicator of business health is how often the sales team wins the deals they pursue - the sales win rate. While sales win rate is an important measure of the effectiveness of the sales team, it is also a metric influenced by the product team - since the product team's efforts and effectiveness can greatly impact the product's desirability/attractiveness, differentiation, and customer acceptance in the market - among other factors. At our March Product Leadership Council (PLC) meeting, we will discuss and explore this further - including:

  • What are they key influences that product teams have on win rate?
  • What are the challenges with improving win rate - and how can product teams help address these challenges?
